A rustic styled living room usually features wood, darker colors, neutral patters, and at times, leather. I didn’t want this rustic living room to feel like a mountain lodge. My goal was a modern rustic look that anyone could incorporate, even in a suburban neighborhood. I kept everything neutral + slightly modern to achieve a more “anytime rustic” look.

Coffee Tables
Slightly modern, rustic coffee tables. I went with mainly wood or metal but you could do upholstered too if you wanted!
Rugs
I’m a sucker for a neutral rug! I love how the one in the concept board is full of subtle pattern. It doesn’t distract from the other furniture & ties everything together.
Accent Chair
The leather chairs are inviting, relaxing, and extremely comfortable! I included some more laid back options if you aren’t a lover of leather.
Decor
Decor and accessories are an easy way to change up the feeling of your home. You really have the opportunity to play with texture, color, shape, and scale when it comes to adding decor. Try layering vases and accent pieces in trays and baskets. A woven basket can make a space feel a lot more cozy than a marble tray.
Side Tables
Side tables are like the earrings to a sofa. They can be subtle or make a statement. To add in more of a boho feel, look for a wicker side table or a wooden one that is carved.
