3 Ways to Style Your Entryway
Your entryway is what welcomes people into your home. Some people have really large entryways (or foyers!) and others, like myself, have a really small area that you walk into when you come inside. If you don’t know where to start when styling your entryway, this post is for you!
I put together 3 entryway decor inspiration concept boards for you to browse through. There’s an entryway bench, entryway console table, and an entryway sideboard.
One main thing I want to get across is that entryways are not one size fits all. Everyone has different things they need met when they first walk into their home, so think about what you do when you first get home. Do you need somewhere to set your mail or keys? Do you take off your coat? Or do you need extra storage to keep odds and ends?
If you would like help finding a bench, console table, or any piece for your home, you can contact us here.
Entryway Bench Inspo
In this design, I used a bench. A bench is a great option if your entry is smaller, or if you don’t have an entry at all! You can style a bench in front of a set of stairs, or better yet, outside under your front porch. I designed this look with neutral throw pillows, a windowpane rug, a faux fiddle leaf tree, and beautiful gold sconces.
The total cost for this look is $1,854 with the bench being the most expensive item at $999.
Entryway Console Table Inspo
In this design, I used a console table. Console tables are really functional because they can offer storage in the drawers and they also have room underneath for large storage baskets or poufs. I chose to style this specific table with white boucle ottomans that can be pulled out for extra seating. You could easily swap the poufs out for large baskets that can house shoes, blankets, or extra throw pillows.
The tops of these cabinets is a great opportunity to display and style your favorite decor! I love to style mine with coffee table books, vases, trays, tabletop decor objects, mirror, art, and seasonal decor. You can really style them however you like! If you are looking for more inspiration for how to style your tabletops, you can look at this blog post I wrote here! I also have a lot of affordable Amazon decor that you can browse through here.
The total cost for this look is $2,103 with the most expensive pieces being the ottomans at $500 a piece. The candlesticks are the most affordable at $10 and $13 a piece.
Entryway Sideboard Inspo
One tip I love to share with others is when finding a piece of furniture for your entry, try to think about using a piece “designated” for another room. You can use a dresser meant for a bedroom or a sideboard meant for a dining room. There are no rules, it just needs to function for you and your family! In this concept I used a sideboard, which is great for extra storage. I leaned a wall mirror on top of the cabinet and decorated the top with a table lamp, vases, flowers, picture frames, and candlesticks!
The total cost for this look is $1,700 with the most expensive piece being the sideboard at $990.
