Do’s & Dont’s
Do: The furniture is to scale in this room and they hung the curtains high and wide. It’s well balanced.

Dont: The furniture isn’t to scale and makes the room seem uninviting and cold.

Do: Add a feature wall. Paint a wall a different color, add trim, or hang art/photos. Or do all 3!

Don’t: Leave a room feeling stark. If you don’t want to paint or hang pictures, add texture and height with a sofa table and lamps. Add layers!

Do: Have enough furniture to balance the room.

Don’t: Fill up the room with furniture just because its a large room. Pick pieces that make sense and that you love. Just because you have it doesn’t mean you need to use it.
