Transitional home decor is one of my favorite interior design styles, right up there with a modern rustic style. A transitional style is a combination of traditional and modern. Typically there are all the traditional elements of a room but with modern and organic touches.
In this Transitional Christmas Decorating Guide I chose things that are commonly found throughout your home; blankets, trays, and Christmas trees, but selected pieces that were a little different and modern. The milk glass trees are a fun addition to your mantel or entryway table. The wreath has greenery only going 3/4 of the way around the metal frame and is finished off with a brass bell and black ribbon. The wooden tray is perfect for your Christmas cookies and the black and white gingham makes it extra special.
